Daily Email - Monday - 03/30/2026

Hey KC, we see you. Spring is officially flirting with us, the Plaza is buzzing, and it feels like every weekend has something new worth marking on your calendar. We’re not here to overwhelm you with plans, just to drop a little inspiration.

Speaking of free… we’ve got a giveaway that hits just right for the pop-loving, dance-it-out crowd. Happy Landing takes over Uptown Theater on May 13th. Want a chance to snag tickets? You know what to do.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • Sun-soaked, fuzzed-out indie rock that feels like a never-ending summer. Wavves hits The Bottleneck on July 14th for a night of gritty guitars, beachy chaos, and just the right amount of noise.

  • Dreamy indie folk with a warm, wandering spirit. Fruit Bats takes over Liberty Hall on October 20th for a night that feels like a late-night drive with the windows down.

  • Offbeat alt-rock with clever lyrics, punchy horns, and zero skips. Cake brings their signature sound to Topeka Performing Arts Center on June 27th for a night that’s as quirky as it is iconic.

  • Genre-bending soul, spoken word, and pure magnetic energy. Tank and the Bangas (with Ariel J.) hit The Truman on November 5th for a show that’s equal parts poetry, funk, and feeling.

  • Country storytelling with a modern edge and a little outlaw attitude. Ty Myers rolls into Ozarks Amphitheater on September 6th for a night of raw vocals, real stories, and summer-night energy.

SOFT-SERVE MARGARITAS IN KC

Finally… it’s happening. They heard our cries—and answered. Soft serve margaritas are officially launching on April 10th at KC Wine Co. Vineyard & Winery.

And yes, I did my homework for this one. I literally wrote the guide on it. So consider this your sign to send it to the group chat and make plans. In the meantime, enjoy all the almost-soft-serve (but not quite yet) options in the guide.

03.30 - Ashnikko at Uptown Theater

03.30 - Bad Suns at The Madrid
