It’s Taco Tuesday, and I just absolutely demolished 5 shrimp tacos from Dos Lokos. In my defense, they were only $3 each. Go grab tacos from somewhere today, it’s basically mandatory.
And while you wait for your tacos, grab these free tickets. TLC & Salt-N-Pepa with En Vogue are pulling up to Starlight Theatre, and your tickets could be on us. It’s iconic behavior only.
JUST ANNOUNCED
Offbeat alt-rock with clever lyrics, punchy horns, and zero skips. Cake brings their signature sound to Topeka Performing Arts Center on June 27th for a night that’s as quirky as it is iconic.
Elmiene is bringing velvet vocals and soul that lingers to The Truman on July 11th. It’s smooth, it’s emotional, it’s the kind of night you feel in your chest. Get your tickets before this one sells out.
Dark, gritty rock with a little bit of chaos baked in. The Pretty Reckless is taking over The Midland Theatre on July 21st, with loud guitars and raw vocals.
Oranssi Pazuzu brings psychedelic black metal to The Bottleneck. It feels more like a sonic spiral than a concert. Wayfarer opens with atmospheric Western-doom energy that sets the tone before everything dissolves into chaos.
Sammy Rae & The Friends don’t really do low energy. Funk, jazz, pop, and theatrical showmanship come together on October 20th at The Truman for one of live music’s most joyful performances.
